As organizations consider how advances in quantum computing could affect digital security, the focus is expanding beyond encryption alone. Protecting sensitive information also involves securing the systems that store it, the identities that access it and the digital infrastructure through which assets move.
Ameritec IPS, a US-based technology company established in 2015, is addressing several of these areas through a portfolio of products designed for security in the AI and quantum era.
Addressing the “Harvest Now, Decrypt Later” Risk
One concern behind post-quantum planning is the possibility that attackers could collect encrypted information today and attempt to decrypt it in the future. Data with a long confidentiality lifespan, including financial records, healthcare information, contracts and government files, could be exposed if the cryptographic methods protecting it become vulnerable.
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) finalized its first three post-quantum cryptography standards in 2024, providing organizations with a foundation for evaluating future security requirements.
Ameritec IPS’s product portfolio reflects this broader shift. Its offerings include Q-Fortress for data security, Q-AmFatec for biometric identity protection, Q-AMCHAIN for blockchain infrastructure and QB-CURE for digital-asset and wallet security.
Protecting Data Beyond the Database
Q-Fortress is designed as a security layer between applications and their databases. According to Ameritec IPS’s product catalogue, it encrypts records, protects connections and maintains tamper-evident logs of activity.
The listed technologies include ML-KEM-1024, ML-DSA-87, AES-256-GCM and TLS 1.3. The product materials also describe access controls, key rotation and recovery mechanisms intended to protect data availability during operational disruptions.
The catalogue reports that 738 of 738 confirmed writes were recovered during power-cut testing. This figure is a company-reported test result, rather than an independently verified benchmark, but it highlights the role of data integrity and recovery alongside cryptographic protection.
Bringing Quantum Protection to Identity Systems

Biometric authentication presents a separate challenge: the information used to verify a person can itself become sensitive data requiring long-term protection.
Ameritec IPS describes Q-AmFatec as the first biometric quantum-encryption solution. Its listed capabilities include facial matching, 3D liveness detection, deepfake and camera-injection detection, document forensics and behavioural biometrics. The company says face templates are protected using post-quantum encryption based on ML-KEM-1024.
The system is designed for use across mobile applications, web browsers and kiosk or edge devices, with cloud, on-premises and offline deployment options described in the product catalogue. These capabilities target environments where identity verification must account for both impersonation attempts and the protection of biometric records.
A Blockchain Component in the Portfolio
The company’s Q-AMCHAIN project extends this approach to blockchain infrastructure. It describes its focus as quantum-resistant digital finance infrastructure and has a project profile on CertiK Skynet.

The profile records a completed security audit and subsequent score update, giving users a public source for reviewing the project’s published security information. The wider CertiK Skynet platform provides additional project listings and security-related updates.
Preparing for Long-Lived Security Needs
Post-quantum readiness involves more than adopting a new algorithm. Organizations must identify where cryptographic systems are used, understand how sensitive information moves through their infrastructure and plan changes without disrupting critical services.
Ameritec IPS’s portfolio offers one example of how providers are approaching these requirements across data storage, digital identity, blockchain infrastructure and asset security. As standards and implementation practices continue to develop, the practical challenge will be translating quantum-readiness strategies into systems that organizations can deploy and maintain.
