Hashlock, a leader in Web3 security and smart contract auditing, is proud to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive security audit for Allfeat.
Allfeat is a Layer 1 blockchain platform specifically designed for the music industry, aiming to address longstanding challenges related to metadata management, rights ownership, and royalty distribution. Built using the Substrate framework and developed in Rust, Allfeat introduces Music Industry Decentralized Data Structures (MIDDS), which serve as standardized, on-chain representations of essential music metadata, including artist profiles, song compositions, recordings, and releases. This decentralized approach ensures data integrity, transparency, and accessibility, allowing artists and rights holders to maintain control over their work. Allfeat employs a dual-consensus mechanism: a Proof of Authority (PoA) network layer managed by trusted validators ensures infrastructure stability, while a Proof of Metadata (PoM) social layer enables community participation in the submission and certification of metadata. Participants can lock AFT tokens as collateral to submit MIDDS, which are then reviewed and validated by community members known as “Trusters,” fostering a collaborative and trustworthy ecosystem. Beyond metadata management, Allfeat enhances fan engagement by enabling artists to create token-based campaigns, host virtual events, and implement governance models that allow fans to participate in decision-making processes, such as selecting album artwork or setlists. By integrating these features, Allfeat not only streamlines the management of music rights and royalties but also fosters a more interactive and equitable relationship between artists and their audiences.
The team at Hashlock audited the solidity code within the Allfeat project, the scope of work included a comprehensive review of smart contracts. These tests were undertaken primarily through manual line-by-line analysis and were supported by software-assisted testing.
After Hashlock’s Audit, we found the smart contracts to be “Secure”. The contracts all follow simple logic, with correct and detailed ordering.
All issues uncovered during automated and manual analysis were meticulously reviewed and applicable vulnerabilities are presented in the Audit Findings section.
