BUILDon is showing early signs of a renewed push upward. The token recently bounced from the demand zone between $0.095 and $0.14, and both derivatives and spot data are starting to look more favorable for buyers. It is not a full reversal yet, but the momentum is there.
Short liquidations are piling up
Coinglass data shows short liquidations worth $11.3K on BUILDon in the last 24 hours. That is roughly double the long liquidations during the same period. In simple terms, bearish positions are getting squeezed as bulls try to take back control. These kinds of moves often show up in the price action shortly after, so this is worth keeping an eye on.
Spot market activity is also picking up. BUILDon’s 24-hour spot volume jumped 70% to $5.14 million, while market cap sits around $159 million. Higher volume and volatility are usually needed for any breakout attempt to actually stick, and the numbers suggest that might be happening.
Bulls hold the edge in derivatives
The long/short ratio backs the bullish case as well. On the 1-hour timeframe, long positions make up 60.08% of open positions, while shorts are at 39.92%. The 1-day timeframe tells a similar story, with longs at 59.54%. That kind of positioning usually points to growing confidence among traders that the upside is not done yet. Still, positioning alone does not guarantee a breakout. Market conditions can flip quickly, and positions can unwind just as fast.
Can BUILDon get back above the 20-day EMA?
On the daily chart, BUILDon is trading around $0.154 at press time, below its 20-day EMA near $0.163. That moving average is the immediate resistance level buyers need to clear. A decisive daily close above it could strengthen the recovery and open the door to the $0.20 zone. If that does not happen, the token could slide back toward $0.14 or even the $0.095 demand zone.
For now, the setup is leaning bullish, but the 20-day EMA is still the key hurdle. A break above it would confirm the shift, while another rejection would mean the market is not ready yet. Either way, BUILDon is at an interesting point.
